They're otw to New Yolk (yellow emerald, has a v tight barrier on the olace with no in or out), being transported by Tangle and Whisper. Dumbass keeps speaking to Shadow across their shared mind connection.-shadow has the blue and purple emeralds. Is in the Boscage maze otw to New Yolk. Black Doom id aware of his goal + refusal to join his side. Fought a Wyvern sent by Black Doom = Mephiles.
-sonadow: sonic understands shadow, and gets butterflies in his stomach when shadow is being attractive but is too dumb to realise that he has the hots for him. Shadow is so in love with sonic and is super angry about it, particularly about how amazing soni boy is but how he still wants to kill shadow despite shadows mission and vengeance being completely understandable (in Sonic's own words)

However, bribery is a powerful tool, and with a great deal of reluctance, Shadow makes a deal with Rouge that if he goes to five of Sonic’s game nights with her, she’ll give him a new Chaos Emerald to replace the one that he lost.
Accidentally kissing Sonic at all five of these games, though, was never part of the plan.
