His heartbeat thunders in his ears. “Look, I’m here to make a deal and I am willing to pay. I want - ”
Between one blink and the next, a searingly hot palm presses against his chest. The demon is suddenly much, much closer. Her stare bores into him as she says, in perfect tandem with his own voice, “ - Jason Todd back from the dead."
