Meng Yao had come here well-prepared to beg and cajole and weasel his way in on his knees, if need be, and yet he hadn't needed a word of it. "You must be tired. Please, allow me to escort you inside."
"Thank you. H—" Meng Yao was cut short when his conversation partner disappeared back into this mist, and Meng Yao along with him.
