What a rare find! I walked into this without knowing anything about anthropology and it was great! It's hard to write about aliens. A lot of the time, it's just written as if Transformers are humans that happen to be robots. Instead, this fic explores what it means for two alien species to meet. AND the author manages to make it all interesting!
