Summary
“I heard some of the maids talking.” Jon said. He began to smirk, something that told Theon he’d not like to hear what Jon had to say next. “They said that you’d snuck a cat into the kitchens and were feeding it out of your hand and cooing at it.”
“What? I absolutely was not.” He’d not fed it or cooed at it in the kitchens. He might have done so in his room later, but no one should have been able to tell the tale of that.
Theon gets a cat. Both of them enjoy Jon's attention.

Summary
“You’ve done the right thing, fighting for Robb,” Jon said. “And I’m not just saying it because he’s my brother.”
Theon nodded. “Aye, well, let’s hope,” he said. It suddenly felt right, hearing it from Jon’s mouth. He thought perhaps he was starting to believe it himself.
Theon decides to warn Robb of his father's plans rather than join his side, and Jon returns from beyond the Wall determined to defeat the coming army of the dead.
(or season 2/3 ish but everyone has a slightly better time)

Theon wanted more than anything to believe it. Stupid Jon Snow, he thought, ever stubborn. But mayhaps this time he’d let himself be on the receiving end of his stubbornness.
Theon finds peace in Winterfell after the war.
