Summary
Dick is overwhelmed for a moment, filled with clarity and inexplicable confusion as he blinks around him bleary-eyed. There's the familiar itching covering his skin, tiny grains of dark sand invading the cuts that have torn through his suit from the crash.
He coughs, throat dry and closing with every gasp of harsh air. The desert is as unforgivable as the last time he was here, an empty expanse of dunes that might just be a trick of the heavy sun against the back of his neck. Dick pushes the panic away behind his eyelids, savoring the darkness before opening his eyes again.
Immediately, he sees Tim.
Unconscious, hunched over, covered in blood and sand Tim.
(Dick and Tim get stranded in the desert, Dick is always moving forward.)

Summary
Tim wasn’t a cat person. He wasn’t a dog person either, for that matter. It wasn’t that he disliked them - animals were great in the way that they didn’t expect conversation - rather, it was that he was bad with them. He was bad at communication with humans, and they (mostly) used their words, so he had a hard time figuring out what an animal wanted from him. Unfortunately, this didn’t seem to matter when he opened his eyes and found himself staring at two paws instead of hands.
Tim finds himself in a spot of trouble, and, in an unrelated turn of events, Jason adopts a cat. These things are related in the way that the Batfamily needs to work on their detective skills.

And Tim has so much he wants to change, so much he wants. He wants to feel important to Bruce. He wants to be Dick's favorite. He wants Jason (his childhood hero) to think he's cool. He wants Damian to need him. And really, is it manipulation if his family benefits from it?
Or: He was halfway through the second trash can, when a startled “Good lord” caught him off guard. Tim glanced up, the rhythmic sucking of his pacifier coming to a still at the sight of a black Rolls Royce idling at the side road that lead to Wayne Manor. Alfred was staring at him from the over the car top, aghast. “Master Bruce, it’s not a raccoon.”

Jason slumped against the wall, feeling the frustration bubble in his chest. He was tiny, injured, confused, nearly naked, and alone in an alley. This wasn't good.
"I found him!" a voice shouted at the same time as light showered over Jason from above. He looked up quickly in shock. He knew that voice.
'You have got to be kidding me.' Jason thought. The light lowered slightly and he saw the smiling face of the one and only Officer Dick Grayson above him.

Harry Potter is stuck in a cell. The war is lost and he has been captured after his whole ‘coming back to life’ scenario. Whilst he wishes he could be positive and productive, it is fairly hard to do so when you know that all of your friends are either dead or sentenced to it, and you are stuck, powerless, in a cursed cell. So, Harry wishes on a star, in a bleak, melancholic sort of way, for it to give him a chance to make it all right and save the day like he was supposed to.
He doesn’t expect for it to actually work.
He certainly doesn’t expect for it to work so much that he would be sent back in time.
And yet, there he is at King’s Cross Station, inhaling the fossil fuels of the 1940s, bound for Hogwarts. He should have asked the star for an easier ride.

Love everything about this and the writing is *chef's kiss*
