Summary
Typically, Davey avoided frat parties like the plague. He’d been to a couple last year, a hapless little freshman bravely venturing out into his new freedom to drink without having to look his parents in the eye the next morning, and they had, without exception, been terrible.
At the first, he’d been there for an hour and went home with somebody’s puke all over his white Converse. At the second, he’d made it three hours before getting caught in the crossfire of somebody else’s drunken argument and ended up with a black eye for a week. At his third and final attempt to enjoy frat parties, he’d actually had fun until he woke up the next morning with food poisoning so bad he hadn’t been able to get out of bed for three days.
But here he was. In an admittedly beautiful house at the end of fraternity row. Surrounded by a lot of rowdy people, mostly men. Pleasantly buzzed, but definitely not drunk.
