A quiet sigh, barely audible, was released behind them. A sound Dante was so keenly familiar with that they noticed it immediately, jolting them out of their spiraling thoughts. Their grip on their arms loosening as they turned around just enough to confirm that they hadn't just imagined the sound as they'd done in the past, and red eyes met their gaze.
