Summary
He vaguely heard the sound of Glenn's voice screaming his name. His shoulder screamed as his attacker held him in the air by one arm with an iron grip.
The world spun and folded in on itself; the air grew cold and sharp and way too bright. There was a faint humming sound in his ears.
It was over in a second, and he fell to the ground heaving, nausea and terror roiling in his gut. He looked up and realized that he was not where he was a moment ago. Glenn was nowhere in sight, and he was now back in the burning camp that they had been fleeing from. A new wave of fear crushed him and he scrambled to his feet, only to be shoved forward by the person who had warped him here.

Or, I was mad about inconsistencies surrounding the events of the tragedy of Duscur, so constructed myself a timeline and then spent too long writing about it whilst at work.

Felix hated that Miklan’s final act would be unforgettable. That the memory of him would be burned on not only the minds of Sylvain, Ingrid, Dimitri, and himself, but that he’d managed to make himself a legacy among their entire class. It was disgusting how such an unconscionable piece of garbage had managed to weave himself into the fabric of their life at the academy, the one place where Sylvain should have been able to remain separated from him.
Now, in the aftermath of battle, Sylvain is a hollowed out version of himself. It's concerning. Felix doesn't know how to reach him. Nobody does.
