Summary

All Dokja wants is to find a way home. But when the prince returns to the palace, things go downhill fast. Because somehow, the entire palace becomes convinced that Dokja is the prince’s newly chosen.

After transmigrating into a fantasy webnovel with the best world-building but worst plot he had ever seen, Kim Dokja removed himself from the story as much as possible to open an apothecary as far away as the System would allow. He has no need to be a part of a trashy romance where the soon-to-be-King spends his time killing monsters, sleeping with enough people to make other harem love interests' jaws drop, or killing anyone who rejects him or looks at him funny. At least the A/B/O thing is a minor plotline..
So when the heroically injured protagonist turns up on his doorstep a little while before the main plot begins, Kim Dokja slams the door in Crown Prince Yoo Joonghyuk's face. (He resolves to do this every time the male lead comes back. Unfortunately, between him and the door, the door's breaking first.)

He bit down onto his lips, his eyes averted from Yoo Joonghyuk’s gaze. “The nobles are growing increasingly restless as we speak…” He turned a page over, his lips thinning to a line. A sigh puffed from those mirthless lips of his as he massaged his brow. “The northern regions and the southern regions share the same sentiment about the instability of your rule. If we don’t consolidate your position with a child, a riot may ensue.”
“Kim Dokja,” Yoo Joonghyuk growled. “How many times will I have to repeat this? I do not wish for a queen. I do not need a queen. How much longer will you pester me with the meaningless wants of those filthy nobles?”
Yoo Joonghyuk’s foolish aide proposes he take a queen to rule by his side. Instead, he resolves to teach his aide a lesson.
