Summary
After nearly starving to death on the way to Erid, Grace is relieved to find that most of the Eridians welcome him with open arms and kindness. They help him with nutrition and a biodome and a teaching position he can find pride in.
The key word, of course, being "most".
When Grace ends up being stalked by an Eridian with a nasty penchant for despising humans, he has to fight for his life in order to survive on the only planet he has left to call home.

Oh? The Petrova Taskforce? A short while before he’d fucked off to somewhere, Ryland had explained to Colt something about the Petrova Line, so it sounded distantly familiar. And incredibly not important to anything Colt would ever be involved in.
He was confused.
“Uh. Hi. You already know my name, so…”
She raised an eyebrow for half a second, then lowered it again.
“It was given to me by your brother, Dr. Ryland Grace.”

Grace didn’t deny it.
He wasn’t sure how long he worked for after that, but at some point, his body presumably shut itself down right there in his rolling chair. At least, that’s where he woke up, with a start, to find Rocky glaring at him with his whole body from across the lab.
They didn’t talk for a while after that.
Grace has a complicated relationship with sleep (and himself). Rocky enforces a bedtime (and Grace treating himself a little better).

A lot of things were mandatory now, like finding time to actually fall asleep, or shaving, or showering and brushing his teeth and all that fucking hygiene self care shit that didn’t matter when his body didn’t remember everything he’d done to it.
If all the scars Nyles had accumulated over all his loops were real, he’d be covered in them.
