Summary
“Y’know,” Nursey starts, then stops.
“Hm?” Dex prompts over his hammering heart, glued to every syllable Nursey’s willing to give him. “What?”
“I may have lost at beer pong,” Nursey says, his gaze for sure dipping down to Dex’s lips and lingering there for a moment this time, “but there’s other stuff I’m better at.”
Dex is blaming the drinks he's had for the way he matches Nursey, letting himself look down at this pretty mouth so openly, then back up to his eyes, for the way he pushes and asks, “Oh yeah? And what’s that?”
That’s all it takes, apparently. Nursey leans in closer slowly, giving Dex enough time to call it, to pull back, to pop this moment like a bubble and forget it ever happened. But Dex doesn’t.
Or, 8 times Nursey and Dex kiss without talking about it and 1 time they do.

Summary
"Well, if you don't want to unwrap your first gift now, that’s chill." He's trying for nonchalant, but he knows the giddiness in his voice betrays him.
This piques Will's interest, just like Derek knew it would. Quickly, he closes his book, bookmark in place, and lowers it before he turns toward Derek, a familiar glint in his eyes that makes Derek’s stomach swoop. "Well, what's the gift?"
In a motion that is, for his standards, pretty smooth, Derek slides the book out of Will’s hands and adds it on top of his own on his bedside table. Then he wastes no time swinging his leg over Will’s lap. Will’s hands come up to the tops of his thighs, like they always do. It makes Derek smile, like it always does.
Derek pecks Will’s lips once, then he tells him, “Me.”
Or, the one in which Will turns thirty and Derek has a very fun gift for him at midnight.

Summary
Dex breaks their kiss with a shuddering breath and digs his hand out of the back of Nursey’s shirt so he can pull at the chest of it. “Can this come off?”
Nursey throws him one of his cocky grins, but the effect is shattered by the absolute adoration in his eyes. “I don’t know,” he teases, “can it?”
“Don’t be a fucking smartass,” Dex throws back with a roll of his eyes.
Nursey laughs warmly as he sits up and makes quick work of his shirt and Dex allows himself to look at the way his stomach rises and falls with every breath he takes, at the soft brown skin spanning over his stomach and chest, at the intricate tattoo on his biceps, at the dip of his collarbone that Dex knows the taste of, at the spots on his neck that drive Nursey crazy.
“Like what you see?” Nursey asks as he lies back down on his side, propping his head up on one of his hands. All Dex manages in response right now is a nod. “Good.” Nursey smiles and chucks his balled up shirt at Dex’s face. “Yours too, c’mon.”
Or, the one in which Nursey and Dex get the Haus all to themselves, spend their morning in a very fun way, and Dex has a pretty big realization.

Summary
Nursey regards him for a moment, searching his face for any little giveaway, then cracks a grin. “You’re superstitious,” he declares, amused.
“What?” Dex repeats, “no! I’m definitely not superstitious. Where the hell did you get that?”
“You so are,” Nursey says, full of glee, and his grin only widens when he spots the telltale flush crawling up Dex’s neck all the way to his cheeks. It nearly drowns out Dex’s freckles.
“Am not!”
“Are too.”
Dex folds his arms in front of his chest, you know, like a petulant child. “Am not!”
Nursey snickers. “What other superstitions do you have? C’mon, you can tell me.”
Or, five times Dex chooses Nursey and one time Nursey chooses Dex.

Summary
It’s senior year and Derek’s half in love with him.
The thing is, he shouldn’t be surprised by this— not when he really thinks about it. His heart always had a home on his sleeve; a byproduct of sorts, from falling a little bit in love with anyone he’s ever met.
Maybe it’s the poet in him, or maybe it’s the optimist, but each time it happens it feels like it’s the one.
With Dex it was different.
(Alternatively summarized as what happens when I listen to Supercut by Lorde and have an emotional breakdown.)

Hops slings an arm over Louis’ shoulders, where he's sat in one of the kitchen chairs. “Hey dude!” He grins down at him, taking advantage of their rare height difference to ruffle Louis’ blond hair with his other hand before grabbing a slice of pie from the counter. “What’re you doing for Christmas?” he asks, through a muffled mouthful of pastry.
Louis shrugs, head drooping slightly to focus on his lap rather than on Hops like he usually does when they're together. “I don't know. I’ll probably just stay in dorms."

Summary
Dex wasn't expecting too much out of his softie year at Samwell. All he'd really wanted was to get good grades, maybe adopt a tadpole or two, and not allow his feelings for Nursey to become too unmanageable. Dex hadn't thought it was that much to ask for.
Of course, despite his intentions, Dex somehow ended up mentoring his tadpole in the ways of sex (he is not a sex yoda so stop calling him that, Whiskey), stripping himself bare for his teammates in more ways than one, and platonically dating his best friend/unrequited love of his life.
