“My lady,” says He, in a tone too-something for her to be calm and measured.Pantalone reflects on the events of Natlan, what she wants in a partner, and all the rest - but is interrupted, by a dog needing some attention.

“I heard that,” Dabi says – Hako nearly startles. Did he talk that loud? “I meant, like,” he points to the thoroughly cleaned carpet, where his dirtied boots dig into. “Why did you come over here? Do you have a message or something?”
Hako – didn’t prepare for that question. Dabi’s too-bright-to-be-the-ocean eyes watch him. Twice observed, patting his hands on the plush couch cushion.
“I,” Hako replies, “sort of just wanted, to say, hi.”
Hako, son of Tenko Shimura (who knows), and Chisaki Kai (who doesn't) tries to befriend the one person whose name he can't remember after being thrown back in time, all for the sake of getting his name. It doesn't go to plan.

After reaching the bottom of the stairs, he wades through a crowd that parts like the Red Sea (wary eyes, scuttling legs, cupped hands over whispering mouths–), strolling. He takes his time, rolling his eyes across anyone he passes, splitting the crowd with each step.
He heads outside to a balcony beyond a broad window pane, his hands clasped behind his back, microphone pinched between two fingers and pointed past his right shoulder like a sword.
Rosie follows him. She can’t not.

The conception of a clutch takes longer than a human's. As always, their nerves become alive in spring after a hundred years since the last. They feel a strange tug in every direction to the only surviving dragons of Teyvat – the very, very few.
