Summary
The worst part is that Toya isn’t out of reach at all.
He’d spent so long chasing after an object in the sky, from east to west, hopelessly reaching his arm to something that couldn’t peer down and see him. And now, there’s no sun in the sky but Toya’s happy face. His eyes twinkle with his genuine, pearl-white smile, and the clouds move out of the way to offer a new gaze.
This Toya is as beautiful as an unrefined gem. He might be cracked, dusted, or rough at the edges. He’s not perfect, not meticulously made to squeeze into an unattainable beauty standard. And something about that is even more beautiful than the saccharine ideal of the sage-bathed cover model.
After years of struggling as a model and chasing after an ideal, Akito finally makes his big break. And now, Toya, the model he'd admired and idealized, isn't as out of reach as he thought.

Summary
“We’ll be okay,” Akito whispers, picking Toya up. Their figures shake in unison– their faces (made to break) are breaking. But despite everything, Akito smiles. “Don’t worry. We’ll… be together forever.”
Toya knows better than this by now. Forever isn’t real, not in this world, but as he rolls the lie over his tongue, the softness comes out before the dirt. Lying, too, is a sin– it has such a sweet scent.
“We’ll sing together with everyone,” Toya whispers anyway, his hand tightening around Akito’s. His face stretches with a poor, strained smile as he chokes out another lie. “We’ll keep rising and reaching higher and higher… until…”
The reality shakes his chest. Toya lets out an ugly mix of a sob and a dry laugh, the sound piercing both of their ears, but his smile doesn’t break. Selfishly, he’d relied too much on his partner. Now, he will be repaying the favor forever.
Forever. Because they would be together forever. Wouldn’t they?
One year ago, Toya was told the world would end.
Now, a year has passed, and it all caves in.

Summary
Oh. Something is different. Something is right. And that fact is unfathomably wrong.
The body slotted against Akito’s is warm, the clean edges fitting seamlessly into his vague graphite shape. The cool breaths falling against his mouth taste like life, and his head spins with the love that beats in time with his pounding heartbeat. And something impossibly sweet turns in his chest.
Lips move and breath forms. Lungs turn stiff and blood vessels empty– filling, turning, burning, with the wonder of an infant. The blanket is unspeakably warm. And the mattress dips with a familiar figure.
The bed is not empty.
He can barely believe his eyes.
After Toya's death, Akito struggles to live alone.
But maybe what's dead isn't truly gone.

The ends justify the means. His heart is white, and his hands are not red. Heroism is noble– whatever, whoever, a “hero” is. And Orange Eagle, clean or dirty, loved or hated, is a hero.
And maybe, just maybe, all he can do is “save” Zenkotei.
Though he’s not sure he’s saved anyone like this.
Hero Orange Eagle meets notorious villain Zenkotei. Their values are opposites, but maybe, he can fix him.
Whatever that means.

“Excuse me,” a slightly miffed, mellifluous voice flows into his ears. He can practically taste the sugar radiating from the sweet tone, the quiet scent of honey and pudding rising in the air. And damn, Akito really is fat as hell because even that’s enough to give him goosebumps. “Sir, it’s your turn to order.”
He dares a glance up, expecting a deliciously cold gaze.
Then there was light.
Wow, Akito thinks. He tries to think of something else, something a little more intelligent or expressive, but all he can think is wow. Because what else can he do but be wowed by how stupidly beautiful the man before him is?
