I really must've freaked him out, Kevin thought, and somehow his hand had already gravitated to Juyeon’s face. He was embarrassed but in a way he also felt relieved since it was about time he told Juyeon the truth about his visions.
“I wish I could keep you near me,” he murmured, pushing Juyeon’s hair behind his ear. “You need to leave soon though.”
Kevin worried that tonight’s events would cause a shift that would change their relationship irreversibly, like a dam breaking.
Juyeon could not fail Kevin again. Athena could not fail Cassandra again, so she chose to keep watch over every new life Cassandra was reborn into, hoping to be able to break her cycle of tragedy.
Kevin knew no one believed his visions, but meeting a mysterious man who suddenly began to appear in his visions made him wonder if it was coincidence or if fate was trying to tell him something.

“Please what?” Kevin asked, going to where Juyeon’s hands had now fallen slack on her thighs and putting them into her hair as she gazed up at Juyeon. “Do you want me to stop?”
Juyeon tugged at Kevin’s hair a little, the groan she let out only further serving to make Juyeon shiver with arousal. “Kev, I need you.”

“Ah, wait– that tickles!” Breathless from laughing, Sunwoo’s protests came out weak, and they were made even weaker by how he held tight to Haknyeon’s shoulders instead of pushing him away. Around this point of a usual kiss attack, it should end with him leaving a kiss on Sunwoo’s lips but Haknyeon decided to tease him a little.
Once Haknyeon finally stopped, Sunwoo looked at him in surprise, beginning to pout. “That’s it?”

“Is there any chance I can ride your bike again?” Jaehyun asked, trying to break the silence.
Kevin snorted and turned to him once he’d put down the helmets, a rueful expression on his face. “Not unless you’re willing to date me. You did me a favour by letting me stay the night at your house – twice now – so obviously I let you be the first person to ride my bike.”
Jaehyun didn’t really hear the rest, only latching onto the first part of his words. “Of course I’d be willing. The real question is if you would let me date you.”
After a blind date gone wrong, Jaehyun goes to his long-time crush and best friend for comfort, only to end up having sex. Waking up to an empty bed, he believes that Kevin wants to forget, but not all is as it seems.

In between the seasons changing came pretty girls expressing their interest in Sungho with perfectly crafted notes decorated in cute pink hearts in glittered pens. Though rejection becomes easy when you do it consistently, from there it becomes second nature to him. He would see the pain in their expression, holding back tears. It becomes easier when he doesn’t feel anything after the third person. It stops feeling like guilt, it doesn't swarm like moths in the pit of his belly like it used to, there’s too much else to worry about.

He finds himself, along with everyone else in the room, holding a collective breath as Sangyeon slips the ring onto Hyunjae's finger, delicately. Hyunjae stares down at his own hand as though it doesn't belong to him, awe on his face.
And maybe Kevin gets it now. Never once has one of his hookups held his hand, let alone that gently. Nobody has treated him like the miracle Sangyeon so obviously thinks Hyunjae is. He watches the way Sangyeon's thumb absentmindedly rubs circles into Hyunjae's palm like it belongs there, like their being together is second nature, and he can't help wondering what it would feel like. To be loved.
OR: Kevin gets a lot more out of his best friend's wedding than he bargained for.
