What if the Tree of the Knowlege of Good and Evil wasn't what everyone thought it was? What if before Lucifer and Lillith were cast out, Evil found it's way into more than just the Earth?
Everyone knows the story, Garden of Eden, the Fruit of the Knowlege of Good and Evil, how Lucifer tricked Eve into eating the apple and fled. In order to stop him, Michael and Gabriel gave chase while Sera kept order and Uriel watched over humanity in case he returned. For her part, Lillith was cast into hell where she built a kingdom with the goal of destrying Heaven and Eve's corruption lead to her damnation.
This is the story that has been passed down from generationt generation, but there's more to the story than most realize.

It makes Lute sick to her stomach, the thought of those vile creatures sneaking their way into Emily’s trust. Too trusting. And she hates Charlie even more so for digging her claws into the Seraphim, warping the views of those below. But it does give her an idea. Smart revenge, a long game. She should’ve played along the entire time. “Okay, so how about we go down there together?” Emily’s eyes squint. “You show me how “good” they can be, and I’ll show you what they’re really like. Compromises, right?”

The story of the last seraph and human connection was one marked in intial secrecy and ended in tragedy. And so, Emily wondered if she truly was supposed to be above romance desires, as Sera had so often advised, and feared that her feelings for Abel transcended the realm of mere friendship. Abel knew he what he was feeling towards Emily, but feared they'd end up like the fated story known for sin.
