"Uh-uh. None of that, Takumi." He can almost feel Eito's hands grab on his hips, holding him still. Pushing him down against the mattress, despite his twitchy, shaky attempts to move. He kind of wants to scream, but he doesn't want to give Eito any more satisfaction than he's already giving him. There's still a few scraps of his dignity that he'd like to hang onto. "I know you're an awfully impatient thing, but you can be good and wait."
Something red-hot gnaws deep in his stomach, some horrifying mixture of humiliation and arousal. He feels Eito's laughter more than he hears it, a sense of sadistic glee. God, Takumi thinks as he suppresses a shudder. I hate this guy so much.
Takumi deals with the implications of co-existing in the same body with someone who wants to see you suffer, in many ways.

There is no possible scenario where Takumi would survive this.
Not like this. Worn down over weeks of being stretched thin, struggling to adapt, pressured and battered on all sides. This weak, frantic, exhausted Takumi, holding the blade in between his trembling hands. Driven not by hatred, but something quieter. Smaller. Something so, so scared, so tired, so desperate for everything to go away.
Cheer up, Takumi. You never have to be alone now.
Eito was never wrong about that. But a sickening feeling settles in his stomach, sour like bile. A terrible realization, unfolding its petals to reveal an awful truth. When - not if, but when - Takumi breaks himself into pieces, collapsing in on himself like the core of a star that's run out of fuel...
... Eito will be the one left here, alone.
They'll be together forever - but that forever lasts as long as Eito can keep him alive.
A reprisal of an endurance match, set in a different key. (Or: Eito tries to protect Takumi from himself.)

He suddenly remembers a memory of Eito and himself in the War Room. They were sitting close to one another, and Eito was smirking about something. He said gravely, “One of those degenerate ogres believes they are worthy enough to bear a child for you,” and Takumi felt a stirring of deep-seeded panic. He was too young for this; not like this. He thought of Nozomi, so lovely and ready; not like this. She would be very compliant and gentle; not like this.
Takumi had already tainted her, his final reward, by allowing her memory to be warped and programmed into obedience. He wouldn’t have a child with her.
Eito grabbed his arm and tapped him, one, two, three. Takumi looked at him. Eito smiled at him, his eyes glinting. “I will not let anyone defile your sweet scent with their rot. I will protect you, Takumi.”
