Months since he's nursed him back to health, met his feral bullshit with kindness, and informed him that whatever fucked up wormhole he'd popped out of led him to a universe full of stars and planets and an Earth light-years away.

    Their caution of one another (though mostly on Simon's side) gradually morphed into respect. Not long after, it became attraction.
