Surprise crosses Jay’s face. It smooths out quickly. “So do you.”

His ex-boyfriend is a hunky lawyer who represents clients while dressed in luxury brands on a daily basis. Meanwhile, Jungwon has worn the same, raggedy scrubs for a week now, hasn’t washed his hair in days, and is sneaking into said ex’s high-rise apartment building to steal back his delivery of three packets of sour cream and onion chips. He knows how this looks on paper.
(or: the five times jungwon “accidentally” ships his package to his ex-boyfriend’s address and the one time the ex-boyfriend—jay—does instead)

Summary
“For what it’s worth,” Jungwon starts, unaware that he’s quelling a ghost in Jay’s head, two voices overlapping. Jungwon's is louder. “For what it’s worth,” he repeats, husky voice quiet and honest, “I am glad to have you here, no matter what capacity it is in.”
Jay doesn't think Jungwon should be glad to have him here. No one should be.
His presence isn't a blessing, it's a curse.
There's something familiar about the way Jungwon's gaze lingers on him after he bids goodbye though, like he's trying to say something without saying it.
Maybe all the roads Jay has travelled have led him right here, and maybe, not everything has to end in tragedy.

this fic has a special place in my heart talaga :') sobrang ganda. idk how to explain it pero the way this made me feel about love and just loving someone, ewan ko kasi i can't put it to words but it seriously made me feel the love they have for each other so deep. sobrang lalim na para bang kasama rin ako sa pagmamahal nila sa isa't isa. and that just explains it all, doesn't it? to the point na ramdam na ramdam ko kahit i'm merely just a reader of their story. pati na rin pala ung palagi silang nandyan para sa isa't isa, no matter the hardships (specifically kay jay), mapapaiyak ka nalang talaga sa inggit at sa fondness na rin. i'm so happy for him. in a way i see myself in him dahil sa pagccare nya for the people that matter. and how deep he feels about this type of things. kaya nung pinagdadaanan nya talaga ung moments from his trauma, naiintindihan ko talaga. kaya to see him so different sa pinaka unang part ng story to after nyang mameet si jungwon is soooo :')))) hay, i love them both so much. i've only read this 2 times, pero trust that never syang mawawala sa isip ko anytime sooner. to the universe, sana ako rin. sana ako rin na makaranas ng ganitong matinding pagmamahal. may i find a love this this in this lifetime :')
