“Your name is Zola.” He starts gently, keeping his voice as steady as possible. “You are a Miqo’te from the Source. We are in Ilsabard, Garlemald and everyone is safe.”
Zola finally stirs, eyes wide and panicked when she finally looks up at him and G’raha aches to know that he will have to do in a way that is less than ideal. If a deadline hadn’t been breathing down their necks, if Fandaniel hadn’t gotten them exactly where he wanted them — but it does no good to dwell on it.
All that matters right now is Zola.
G'raha steals a moment to comfort the Warrior of Light in the wake of what Zenos and Fandaniel does to her.
