Summary
So shipping is like, when Luné think we’re gay?” Jo asks as soon as he leaves.
“It’s when they think we’re gay for eachother,” Maki corrects.
“Oh,” Jo says, and scrunches his nose, “Do they think I’m gay?”
Maki thinks for a minute and shakes his head, “No, I think your straight rep is pretty strong. Don’t worry.”
“I am gay, though,” Jo says casually, “they’ve got terrible gaydar."
--
Maki’s horrible, no good, very bad gay adventure in which he finds out a number of new things, one of which might be how to love.

Summary
“You know what” Yuma stands on his knees, adjusting himself so he’s sitting on Nicholas’s thighs. He starts drawing hearts on Weno’s bare shoulder.
Nicholas flinches the tiniest bit, frowning whilst staring at Yuma’s lips. Is this how it’s going to happen? His hands itch to hold his waist, yet sit limp on the sheets. Yuma is just sitting on him, repeatedly drawing hearts on his shoulder. It’s comforting in a way.

Summary
The second War for the Dawn is lost before it has even begun. With a little help from the Old Gods, Bran sends the last surviving Starks somewhere they can make a difference: back in time. Alone in an unfamiliar place, scattered and separated from each other, they must save the dragons and their house from death and madness. The survival of all humanity depends upon it.
Alternatively: Jon discovers just how messy that side of the family can get, Arya is forced to concede that some problems can't be solved by sticking them with the pointy end, and Sansa finally gets to play the game of thrones. This time around, it is a woman they will call Kingmaker.
(Or: What if all Alicent Hightower needed was a friend like Sansa Stark?)

Summary
Nicholas used to say he never wanted pups. And he meant it. Because how could someone like him, raised by sorrow and abandonment, ever be a parent? What if he left behind a grieving mate and a child who would never know him?
This fear has always been with him tucked behind his ribs, heavy in his chest. But fear has never meant weakness. It means he understands what love could cost. Still, he moves forward. He breathes through the ache and chooses to try anyway. Because things are different now.
He has Euijoo - his mate, his home - and has a pack who loves him, and who would love any pup that came into their lives.

Summary
At Driftmark Aemond loses his eye, but gains a dragon. While losing an eye sucks, Aemond doesn't really regret claiming Vhagar, only Vhagar isn't the only thing he has gained. The trauma and pain caused by the experience led Aemond to unlocking his hidden memories of a past life.
AKA Zuko reincarnates as Aemond and regains his memories at Driftmark, because I can't help but notice the similarities between these two and wonder how they ended up so different by the end of their respective series.
