Summary
Overwhelmed by the demands of single parenthood, Mark Scout and Helena Eagan decide to undergo the severance procedure. Their innies pick up half of their responsibilities while they get to do all the fun stuff. It's a perfect solution.
Mark and Helly see each other almost every day, but have never spoken. Their interactions consist of furtive smiles in front of the elementary school and fleeting glances at the pool. Life outside of their kids is non-existent.
