“She’s getting better.” Riven said as he watched Musa train. Her partner - some scrawny first year named Parker, who he had been introduced to earlier that morning was giving her a fair battle, their swords clashing against each other. Her hair bounced in pigtails as she ducked under her partner’s arm, watching her left like Riven always reminded her to.
“She is.” Silva replied, his eyes tracking their movements. Silva turned to look at Riven, the slightest of smiles on his face. “She had a fairly decent teacher.” Riven grinned, fiddling with the strap of his uniform.

Ignoring people was usually Musa’s strong suit. Blocking out everyone’s voices was hard but not impossible when she didn't have her headphones in. Right now though? It seemed like she was never going to be able to ignore the others - especially Riven.
It was like she was always attuned to him, no matter how annoying it was. It felt like no matter what, he was over her shoulder or on her side at all times - both a comfort and an annoyance. And with them not talking to each other, it was even more awkward.

Everyone expects her to have answers, to understand the things she feels around her, but no one expects more than Headmistess Rosalind.
