He's immediately forced to roll away, protecting his face with his arms, to avoid being suffocated with Thranduil's pillow.
"I have changed my mind," Thranduil tells him, sulkily. "Maybe you are not deserving of librarian role play after all."Or, Thranduil gets reading glasses and they do sex about it.

Perhaps some other day Bard might have felt bad bringing such copious amounts of water into so fine a place. The floors were lined with fur, after all, yet he could scarcely spare it a thought as he stood with drenched hair and a slowly thinning patience. Why he had thought to come here he knew not. That the Elvenking would offer up his basin was perhaps reason enough.
