And the thing is that Stiles has so few new people in his world that aren’t werewolves or trying to inflict bodily harm on him, so he doesn’t think it’s all that weird when the new kid shows up in his dream, blue eyes twinkling as he beckons to Stiles from across a field of purple flowers.
Because dreams are really just your brain’s way of processing the events from the day, and dreaming about a new, interesting kid is totally normal and even expected.
OR the alternative season 2 where Stiles craves some normalcy and befriends a new kid in his econ class, only to realize that maybe they both want more from each other than just a simple friendship.
