Summary
There’s an art to building a joke, a clinical method only practice and years of training can turn into mastery.
First comes the setup. You set the mood for the audience, lure them into thinking this is a perfectly normal character, a perfectly mundane situation. That way, they can picture a clear image in their head, relate to the scene.
Then, you have the punchline.
The setup of this story is this: Man writes a routine out of anger against an injustice and goes viral.
The punchline? Yoongi hasn’t figured that part out yet.(Or Comedian Min Yoongi goes viral after an acerbic routine on nation’s son-in-law Kim Seokjin’s public outing.)

“Yeonjun,” the cat plush says after a short pause. Kai ponders shortly on why the name sounds so familiar when his doorbell rings.
“I’ll be right back, Yeonjun-ssi. Don’t...move?”
“I can’t,” is the dry response, and Kai smiles at the unexpected humor. He doesn’t know whether he’s relieved or disappointed when he comes back and sees ‘Yeonjun’ still sitting upright on his bed.

Summary
This is a series of one-shots involving Levi Ackerman and a female original character that I'm working on. This series, titled "Studies of Two Souls," is meant to be some sort of a low-stake exploration of Levi and my OC as characters. It's a companion to (and preparation for) a longer multi-chapter Attack on Titan story that I'm working on, to be posted sometime in the future.
The stories in this series aren't posted in chronological order. Each story can take place anytime from before the "No Regrets OVA" and after the Return to Shiganshina arc.

Jeongguk’s fingertips glance across the intruding sunlight, casting a small shadow across the room that he has blocked the light from shining on. His fingertips, now colored a nice pale yellow, feel warm. He smiles a small smile, amusement temporary yet immensely pleasant.
He could sit here all day, sheltered in the confines of his hotel room, playing with the dazzling hues of yellow, orange, and white until they eventually fade into darkness.
Unfortunately, Jeongguk hasn’t been that lucky in a while.

somehow, jeongguk manages to make the part of his brain not connected to his dick work enough to raise his hand, grasping onto yoongi’s a little too tightly. he swallows thickly, praying to god that his face isn’t as red as it feels when he looks yoongi in the eye again and lets out a quiet, “hi.”
