Well, it wasn’t. It really wasn’t. It couldn’t be. It was illegal, if anything. They weren’t allowed. They couldn’t. They couldn’t be together. Even if they wanted to. And Paul wanted to. But John didn’t know that, did he? And he kept pretending like they were. Like they were a couple. Like it was allowed. And it was messing with Paul’s head.

John made a sarcastic wish to switch bodies with one of his teenage fans. Unfortunately, his wish came true, and feels more like a nightmare. In which John Lennon switches bodies with a teen fan, doesn't enjoy it, and has a lot of complicated feelings about Paul and his life.
(This story ended up being more about John and Paul's dynamic than a body swap story. Kinda angsty. Complete.)
