Summary
It’s Valentine’s Day.
Couples pass him, entwined in one another- hands clasped, bouquets and chocolate boxes held close, grins radiant and meant for no one but each other. One pair stands kissing beneath the orange glow of a lamppost. The sight stirs something conflicting in his stomach.
Will has never had a Valentine.
He remembers second grade: cutting paper they could barely afford, making a card for everyone in his class. On the front of each, he drew a flower by hand. Inside, a careful message, written in his best handwriting.
Lonnie was furious.
Livid, especially, over the single card Will received in return. From Mike. A boy.
He never made another Valentine’s card again. Until now.

"You're in a good mood" Will giggles when Mike starts to attack his face with kisses. Mike hums placing a particularly long kiss right above his lip.
"It's Valentine's Day tomorrow" Mike pulls away with a loud smacking noise sounding through the room.
If you told anybody now that Mike Wheeler used to be Valentine's Day number one hater, they would never believe you.
"Mm, indeed it is.." Will grins, threading one hand through Mike's hair, which he had grown out since they moved. Will couldn't be more grateful, the length is perfect for him to loop his finger through and twist it around like a high-schooler on the telephone.

Pure fluff of Mike and Will having dinner in their shared apartment while in college on Valentine’s Day, because they love each other. Also Mike likes to serenade Will.
