Summary
Macaque turns from his side to his back, and immediately regrets that decision as it brings his attention to the raking sharpness in his lower abdomen. He groans in pain as his legs snap up and he wraps his arms around his torso, hoping that the pressure around his belly will lessen the sudden cramps. Macaque rolls back onto his side as his breaths quicken and deepen, the sudden unexplained pain quickly spiking his heart rate up and instil panic into his veins. Thoughts of what could be wrong race through his mind and quickly progressing to worse stakes than the previous.
It’s only when he curls further into himself and feels an uncomfortable and vile wetness between his legs, that Macaque realises what’s happening.
Or, Macaque gets some fucking gnarly period cramps and Wukong finds an unconventional way to help

Summary
*Written mostly before I watched the latest season, but I did some adjusting to make it fit.*
After everything that's happened with the pillars and his conflicting emotions about Monkey King, Macaque decides to take a small sabbatical to check on his theater and dojo. He's been away from it for a long while since living on Flower Fruit Mountain and he needs a bit of time to sort out these weird, conflicting, and quite frankly terrifying emotions he has going on towards a particular FFM resident.
He's... Still not sure where he stands with the great sage. So for now, he plans on doing what he does best. Avoiding his problems. He just doesn't expect that on week three of avoiding the issue he would end up adopting a random white furred monkey demon cub. One that looks haunting like it might actually be his with an extra set of ears and everything. But he thinks he would have remembered giving birth to a cub, so that's literally impossible.
But he doesn't mind letting everyone else think that.

Despite reconciling, the two monkeys are still having issues within their new relationship. And instead of talking about the past, a seemingly repulsed Macaque keeps insisting they fuck about it. Though he's concerned, Wukong is willing to do whatever he can to make things right.

Summary
A look at Wukong and Macaque's relationship in the past and present and how their dynamic may have shifted yet is still very much the same. Whether it's in the past or the present, the two argue over the same thing, their mutual recklessness and stubbornness and if they're really equals or not.
Macaque is pouty and angry while Wukong is sad and lonely. Later on they'll be able to look back and laugh at themselves.
This takes place in pre canon then post season 5.
