    “Sorry I’m in a bad mood, Neal. Baby Neal kept me and El up all night.” Peter rubbed a hand down his face and looked over at Neal. He was surprised to see his partner looking worse for the wear. “You okay?”

    Neal glanced over at Peter and nodded. “What’s the matter with my mini-me?”

    “He’s getting sick, I think. Just wouldn’t stay in bed and was fussing all night no matter where we put him or what we did.” Peter eyed Neal as he reached into the backseat for his briefcase. “You sure you’re okay?”

    Neal gave a noncommittal shrug before getting out of the car to avoid the conversation he knew Peter wanted to have. He shivered in the cold air outside the car and headed towards the elevators, ignoring Peter as the older man jogged to catch up to Neal.

    “Don’t tell me you’re getting sick, too,” Peter said as he pushed the call button. It sure looked like Neal was getting sick. The consultant didn’t get sick very often, but he had been around Baby Neal a lot lately and he really wasn’t looking too hot.

     

    In which both Neal Caffrey and Neal Burke catch the same bug and end up spending a sick day with Peter and Elizabeth looking out for them.
