Jazz purposedly didn’t swear, though he was very tempted to do so.
Swearing wouldn’t help matters; in fact, it would be the exact opposite of helpful. He knew it from experience; if you swore at Blaster while he was in that state, he became defensive and curled up on himself like one of those hedgehogs thingy, the very picture of uncooperativeness.
And Jazz needed the other mech’s cooperation, damnit!

He yanked down his shorts to finish sunscreening before he jumped in, and had to look up when he heard Springer choke. Someone drowning was not how he wanted this weekend to turn out.
“Uh, Roddy?” Springer asked. “You, uh, forgot something?”
“Uh…” Hot Rod tried to remember if he’d left the stove on. Or the keys in the car.
“Your suit,” Arcee said, swimming back up to the dock ladder with a couple of long, smooth strokes. She wasn’t looking at him.
“I didn’t bring one. I was just going to skinny dip.”

If one were to be delicate, one would say that Jazz and Prowl are incompatible.
The blunt truth?
'You just lie there with this blank expression on your face,' he'd been told by his last partner. Signal had stayed longer then most, willing to try since Prowl was so obviously doing his best, interfacing to please his partner and give him what Prowl himself disliked. In the end, though, it hadn't worked. 'You don't like me touching you, you don't like the mess, you don't even like the overload, and half the time I swear you're running economic simulations in your CPU you look that bored. I don't want that. I don't want you miserable, and I don't want me miserable, either.'
