Megatron sits vigil, unable to separate the body from his sight. Standing guard over the lifeless form as if, should the spark dare to return, he might greet it like a friend.

We are firmly in AU land here. I would love to give credit to fantastic works Allegiance, Libero Per Fidem, Welcome to the Club, and the glorious talent in Abundance of Faith, for creating an alternate view of Vader, Piett, Luke, et al. Thanks for making such a great sandbox to play in.
After Bespin, Vader is dealing with regret and the the realization that he does not want his son to turn as he did. Thus, Palpatine must be destroyed. Piett is complicit in this plan and helped to get Luke away from Bespin in this head canon. Luke harbors respect and admiration for the diminutive admiral. Veers doesn't know all the details but as the best friend and brother in arms, will go where Piett directs. And Piett will go where Vader leads. But this is Sidious we're dealing with and his plans have plans......

Summary
After being rendered blind from a young age, Harry soon discovers he has a sort of future sense. He wouldn't call himself a seer, though that's probably the closest definition that he could think of. However, life starts off hectic as he learns the dreams he's had of magic and a place he knows so well appear to have been real. Meaning he is a Wizard and going to attend Hogwarts. When things start happening that he never had warning of, he would give almost anything to figure out who or what is able to change the future, just as he can.
One thing leads to another, and trying to create an alliance with Voldemort as equals turns out a lot harder then he would have thought. He is rather curious why the man evades his 'sight', almost as curious as he is about finding out why Snape hates him so much. With his steadily growing powers of what would surely label him as a seer, Harry can only hope to try and lead a normal, or at least somewhat peaceful life.
Rated E for future chapters.

Turns out the vanishing cabinet is more than what its name lets on - he and his friends somehow end up in the 1940's.
"Time travel. How bullshitingly wonderful"

"Awful things happen to Wizards who meddle with time, Harry"
OR: Harry and Co. along with Draco and a older Slytherin male by the name of Max all hide into the vanishing cabinet to not get caught by McGonagall and Snape. It's a horrendously tight fit - but they manage. Through some sort of magic and because obviously Harry was involved and his bad luck was apparently spreading, they all get sent into the past 50 odd years or so.
Cue the "we can all be ourselves now" theme.
