Phainon is late on Valentine’s Day, stuck at work and drowning in guilt. He walks through the door expecting a quiet evening but, instead, he finds Mydei at the stove wearing nothing but an apron, hiding a set of lingerie underneath.

They’re nearly at the end of the carpet when Phainon hears it. It’s between two paparazzi as they compare notes and photos.
“So that’s Mydeimos, Mr. Khaslana’s beau. No wonder it took him so long to reveal him even when he could never keep his mouth shut about him. The guy’s smoking hot! And human!”
“It’s a shame he isn't in the industry,” the other agrees. “I mean look at that ass! Who wouldn’t want to tap that? I bet he’d make millions being a model.”
Phainon stiffens, and this time, he’s the one clinging to Mydei as they stop abruptly. Oblivious, Mydei makes a confused noise when Phainon pulls his arm out of his grip only to wrap his arm around his waist, shielding his ass, tempted to grope it to remind everyone who it belonged to.

Summary
The mystery hot man sitting diagonally to him keeps checking him out. Or at least Phainon thinks he’s checking him out. He keeps looking pointedly in Phainon’s direction, and hasn't turned a page of his book in 5 minutes. At one point he stares at Phainon so hard that a wrinkle forms in between his perfect angular nose bridge.
He won’t lie, that’s very flattering. Phainon has been told that he’s a good looking guy, though he doesn’t make it his entire personality or anything. And if the circumstances were any different, he’d tap it. The man is insanely attractive. But this isn’t about him! This is about Castorice and her potential scammer girlfriend. He had to stay focused! He can’t afford to get distracted by pretty boys!
Meeting online friends in-person is a scary thing, and Phainon can’t rest unless he’s sure his friend Castorice is safe. So he does what any good friend would do, he follows her.
