Lance smiles a little, softly, sweetly, and then lifts his hand to Keith’s jaw, his fingertips light, smiling up at Keith through his dark lashes. “Are you okay enough for this?” he asks.
Keith considers the question. “How am I supposed to know?”
"When you can say, “yes,” with great confidence, and mean it," Lance says, smiling, his eyes crinkling warmly.
“I don’t get it,” Keith says, softly, glancing at the blue crescents on Lance’s cheeks, "I don’t get how you’re so fine. You always seemed so fine.”
Lance searches Keith’s eyes for a moment. “I wasn’t. You just didn’t see that part.”

Summary
First, Lance gets lost. It takes him two years to find his way back to his family, but for them it was a single blip mid-battle.
Next, Lance comes back with new scars and a new attitude. With Keith's return accompanied by his mother, Lotor's deception revealed, and Shiro not being Shiro, there isn't much time for the team to get to know the new Lance.
Finally, Lance goes home. And along the way he realizes a few things about himself and his found family.

Summary
Things are not going great for the team. Constant stress is pulling the nerve on everyone, so it's no big surprise that someone finally snaps. On Lance of course. Basically, Blue Paladin gets shot during mission and consequences of this whole ordeal are going to hit him soon enough. All on his own, there may not be enough time left to act before the time runs out.

Redhead’s eyes widen comically as they finally snap to Jaskier’s. He quickly takes control of his expression, squinting at Jaskier as he bares his teeth. “Who the fuck do you think it is,” the man growls, slight color making its way to his freckled cheeks.
Jaskier’s brows furrow. That sounds like they should know each other, but Jaskier doesn’t recall anyone with such looks, maybe except for—
“Lambert?” he squeaks out, nearly falling off the bench.

Author's pet project. This had been sitting in my word docs for a year and upon re-reading, I've decided to share it with the world. While the pairing ain't that big and I don't expect much, it's been an amazing experience writing this.
