Summary
Purged of all his souls, Castiel is a changed being, stronger than an angel and too powerful for Jimmy's body to contain. Happily, there's an archangel's vessel on hand, and he could use fixing, too. Dean isn't too happy about the idea of his brother acting as a vessel for Castiel, and Sam can guess why, but it isn't until Castiel gets inside his head and they learn to share the vessel -- and their thoughts -- that Sam realises Cas is as in love with Dean as Dean is with him. It's unfortunate that there's nothing much to be done about it now, but Castiel will get another vessel soon. The Winchesters will make damn sure of that. In the meantime, it's up to the three of them to establish their own strange accord, and Dean realises more fully than ever that it's Castiel, and not his vessel, that he loves.

“Hollander?” a voice asks from deeper in the flat. It is decidedly not a girl’s voice. “Hollander, what is – oh.”
Yuna looks from her son to the person who has appeared behind his shoulder: Ilya Rozanov, naked except for a towel. Yuna’s eyebrows go back up as she looks from Rozanov back to Shane.
With a sigh that seems to deflate the tension in his body, Shane closes his eyes for a moment, and then finally steps aside. “Okay, maybe it’s best you do come inside.”
Yuna and David just mean to surprise their son before the season starts. Except Shane isn’t home alone – and his unexpected visitor turns out to have a problem that is right up Yuna’s alley. What would they have done without her? Probably something stupid, like pretended to get married.

“You are planning to rob me or what?” He hears Rozanov call, and he can’t help but smile slightly even as he rolls his eyes, closing the door to the linen closet and feeling strangely lighter than when he opened it, reassured that he’s just trying to read into a blank page, that today doesn’t mean anything more than Rozanov doesn’t mind him being around, which is strangely flattering.
“I don’t know,” he calls back. “Don’t Russians like diamonds and fur and stuff? Where should I start looking if I want to know what my options are?”
He hears Rozanov laugh, and it makes him smile.
When he joins him in the living room once more, Rozanov tugs him down to lean against him again. Shane goes easier this time, settling into it, knowing it doesn’t mean anything other than the fact that he just happens to be the closest warm body, the person on Rozanov’s roster who filled today’s slot.
