Summary
Megumi Fushiguro’s wings are matted and dirty. They’re folded tightly to his back, smashed under an aged backpack held together by silver duct tape and hope. The very tips of crumpled primaries twitch where they poke out from under the kid’s oversized coat. Satoru, standing over the boy, peering down his nose at him, feels something akin to desperation at the sorry state of his feathers.
“When was the last time you were bathed?” The question is layered with many more that Satoru would like to volley at the chick. He holds his tongue,a decision that was well made, the boy flinches back, just slightly and glares up at Satoru warily. The disarray of his wings extends to his hair, and down into his pale face, smeared with exhaustion and hunger.

Summary
Megumi must be feeling his throbbing even through the layers of fabric. He's just ignoring it. Yuji wants to feel infuriated but can't. As Megumi slowly disassembles him limb after limb, immobilizes his musculature, Yuji only feels the pleasure from tiniest bouts of friction that much better. With limbs of lead he's left panting, pinned beneath his scheming lover not too different from the aftermath of a duel lost.

“That’s so pathetic,” Megumi teases, and Yuji whines, pulling Megumi close and pressing his face against his lower stomach. Megumi brings his hand up and strokes Yuji’s hair. “I thought you fed just recently. Are you really that hungry?”
“For you,” Yuji says, muffled by Megumi’s skin. “Always hungry for you.”
Megumi accidentally triggers Yuji’s bloodlust.

That creature had the torso of a man and the tail of a fish. An immense tail, a dark, shimmering blue, with two small dorsal fins on either side of its hips, tucked into the small space. Scales, embedded like precious stones in its body, resulted in skin so pale it was almost translucent.
"Silence," the captain hissed. "Don't you know a mermaid is a bad omen?" Everyone fell silent for a moment. He slammed his boot against the fish tank, grimacing. "If I wanted to die, I'd cut my throat right now. This is nothing but a curse."

“Hey, Kenma?” Kuroo said suddenly, tilting his head back a little to look up. He was close enough that his hair tickled Kenma’s arm.
Kenma glanced over, then back at his game. “Hm?”
Kuroo took a deep breath and let it out slowly. “I’m in love with you.”
Kenma blinked, losing track of his game for a split second. He paused it and looked down at the top of Kuroo’s head. The moment stretched on. “Oh,” he said, because there was nothing else he could think to say.
