Summary

“Now listen up, as the power decreed in me by title of Godfather, I’m ordering you both to take two days off.”
James blinks, brows furrowing downward. “Two days off…what?”
“Parenting,” Sirius replies succinctly.
Now it was Lily’s turn to blink rapidly in shock. “Sirius—what—?”
“Look,” he makes himself comfortable on the bed, entering it properly so that his back is fully against the headboard pressed up against Lily’s skin. He tries very very hard not to think about the warmth of it, nor how soft it feels against his bare ankle.
“I don’t know if you guys have seen yourself in the mirror recently—“
“No time for it.” “Nope.”
“—yeah, exactly, but you look like death has warmed over—“
“If Death was called Harry James Potter, sure,” Lily mutters under her breath.
“And I don’t know why you didn’t call me to help you but now that I’m here, I’m taking over,” he finishes. Their little comments only solidified his decision. These two needed some serious R&R, stat.

Sirius loves his godson. Taking care of him for a few days shouldn’t be too hard, should it? Too bad, he didn’t consider the implications of being around James and Lily Potter for his heart.

Summary
Lily and Remus knew what they were getting into when they chose one half each of the infamous JamesandSirius duo--standing beside them, not in between.
Didn't they?
Atleast, that's what Lily thinks, who knows she has as much of her boyfriend's heart when it's already owned by someone else. She's quite content with it too. It's really a wonder Remus couldn't see it.
But when you've spent years pining for something (someone), giving them up feels like a fate worse than death and Remus won't let go so easily.

Summary
In the days after the War, Harry’s entire state of being can be summed up by one word: numb.
The death and destruction he sees around him—the futility of it all—juxtaposed with the rabid media circus he was embroiled in at any given time was enough to give anyone a crisis.
Harry wakes up with ash on his tongue and the images of the dead seared into his eyelids. He steps out of his house and has to actively avoid throngs of screaming fans, often sidestepping an underwear or two aimed for his face. His mind was stretched thin like a rubber band and all he does is wait for the day it snaps.

Until he puts on the Black Lordship ring, takes on the family mantle and accidentally restores the tapestry to its original glory. Only to discover something that wasn't there before.

The thought ‘I’ll end whoever touched you’ hit him with such dizzying force, he had to brace himself against the ground for a minute.
Sirius hadn’t ever been particularly aggressive, had tried hard to stay away from the murderhurtviolence running through his blood, but in that moment—in that moment, he imagined he was feeling what every single Black had for centuries before him and would continue to do so after.

“I did,” Bucky insists. “You fought the battle maskless. You were at the funeral. I remember that– why don’t I remember your face?”
“... it’s better that you don’t,” he says cryptically.
Bucky can't help but feel like he's forgotten something important, and he doesn't figure it out until Sam asks him to recruit Spider-Man to the Avengers. He knows he used to know the young vigilante's face, and the bitter hero before him isn't the same Spider-Man he met in the airport. Despite Spider-Man's insistence, Bucky knows that no one should go through a life like theirs alone, and he's determined to give him a fresh start.
And just maybe find a new beginning for the Avengers as a whole in the process.
