Ever since she was born, Nettles struggled to know who she was. Every night she had dreams of another world, a better one than the one she lived in. One filled with fantastical creations, with warmth and food aplenty... yet every morning, she woke to try and scrape together another day of survival on Driftmark. With each year that passed, she remembered more, until one day it all came crashing down upon her.
The Dance of the Dragons approached, and she refused to die alone in some forsaken mountain in the Vale. It was a fine vow for a girl to make, the trouble was she had no idea how to change her fate... and she would soon learn some things are better left in destiny's hands.

Alicent knew there was something deeply profane about the second son of Rhaenyra the moment she saw him. Twin to Jacaerys, yet looking nothing like his brother who had brown hair and dull brown eyes. The silver hair of the child was touted as truth of his Velaryon linage, but Alicent knew something more unholy was at work. Those eyes were deeply unnatural, such a vibrant burning green.
