В книге Love and War Эйс, в очередной раз попавшая под раздачу от планов Доктора, уходит от него на планете Рай. В это время идет Вторая война с далеками, и девушка вступает в ряды Космофлота. По книгам, когда она возвращается в ТАРДИС, Доктор не понимает, какой процент от Эйс, которую он знал, осталось в жесткой и циничной Макшейн, и теперь вообще оба не доверяют друг другу. В моей версии Эйс не успевает вернуться к Седьмому Доктору, потому что в армии она встречает Девятого. Ну и Девятый Доктор не долетает до Земли 2005 года, потому что натыкается на Эйс. Короче канон летит в тар-тарары)))
