Summary
Anthony Crowley is an actor in his prime who ironically stars in a dying fantasy sit-com about angels and demons and their shenanigans. Desperate to bring ratings back up and preserve their reputation, his manager Anathema proposes bringing romance into the show by introducing a love interest, which Crowley is very much opposed to. Crowley simply doesn't do romance, and he's definitely not looking to make new friends.
However, when Crowley meets Aziraphale Fell, an Academy Award winning actor who's been out of the lime light for nearly a decade and has been cast as his romantic co-star, Crowley thinks this may not too terrible after all. He's certainly not about to go falling in love with this man though, even if they are playing lovers.

Summary
This fic has been completely rewritten in 2020 from its 2014 publishing date. The original was quite sloppy and I no longer wanted it up. Rather than remove it I decided to rewrite it in a fashion more comparable to my other works.
It is set some vague place between Baltar's announcement as a presidential a candidate (The Captains Hand) and the actual election. I would assume that there were actually weeks if not months of campaign so this is all before Lay Down Your Burdens I. Though it is an AU fic it is canon compatible. It assumed an Adama/Roslin established, though secret, romantic and physical relationship. It contains mature subject matter and is intended for adult readers. The contents of the story are not meant to be offensive to anyone's point of view in anyway and don't necessarily reflect my own but I felt I would take the subject at hand in the most realistic direction possible. It was written in an attempt to take the often unrealistic genre of baby!fics and explore a more gritty and un-idealistic approach that remained true to character.

Asa’s last conscious thought, before he was lulled to sleep by the cool softness of the night and the rustle of the trees and the clammy weight of his husband’s hand in his own, was again of his wish on the star: let me know him, in every way there is, and let me keep him, please.
Squinting at the morning light, he clutched at his head, at the buzz in his ears and the ache in the bridge of his nose. It felt like something was growing, or rather, settling into his mind. And all at once, it fell into place.
It came like a montage, like an old photo album of a life that was slowly coming back to him, piece by piece. He remembers.
“Crowley!” The cry was torn out of him, desperate and guttural in a way he hadn’t ever heard his voice. At least, not in this lifetime.
Or: Asa Fell makes a wish on a shooting star. The next morning, he finds that it comes true.

Both Asa and Anthony knew there was a part of their past they had that was missing. So, when a photograph that seemed older than time itself falls from the pages of a blank copy of Bleak House— both of them in it, unmistakable, they want answers, and the only clue is as intriguing as it is impossible to solve. What are they even trying to find? A memory restarter?
Could it restore not just their memories, but the entire history of what they once were to each other?Or; in a blank book they find the 1941 picture with a clue as to where (possibly...) a memory shaped page could be. Could they regain the memories they've lost?
