He’ll stroll in right on time, packed to the brim with his iron-pressed shirts and Eevee sleep-mask, and when he arrives, he’ll be there.

A distant part of him scoffed as he attempted to see if there were any identifying labels, knowing how rare of a chance it would be—and then made a triumphant sound around his toothbrush as he caught sight of scrawled permanent marker on the bottom.

Noct all but threw himself in a waiting chair with a soft sigh. Prompto dragged another chair close to the prince and sat beside him, Gladio copying the action. Ignis wandered to the cooking area they had set up and began to get to work.
“When you hear our story, you'll understand.” Noct said quietly, looking into the dying embers of the fire.
