You and your two friends have an MTV reality TV show called 'Hot Stuff', it's basically where you discuss other celebrity gossip and do random things whilst talking about it. It's very popular. Jackass has been airing for nearly two years now (it's 2002), and has gained a lot of attention with the first Jackass movie coming out in October. You and your two friends did a stunt for the making of the movie so you've become kind of friends...well that's what you think. So you were a bit shocked to find out that Sky (one of your friends) is now dating Steve-o! And has invited you to a barbecue at her house with Steve-o and the rest of the Jackass crew invited, luckily your other friend Charlie (she's a girl) is going as well so you won't be completely alone with the Jackass crew.
