Summary
Marigold Ellis has lived in New York city her whole life always going from one crisis to the next one, until somehow she finds herself getting tangled in Peter Parker's life and his own problems start to become hers too. Everything they do seem to find a way to connect each other, things get messy when Marigold is dragged into a mission in hopes to help Spider-Man she wants to do good, but mostly she wants to find a place to belong entirely, for people to see her value and love her just as much as she does for her loved ones.
Our arachnid hero doesn't want her help in any way. He still carries guilt wherever he goes enough to worry about Marigold as well. He needs her to be safe, to avoid the fate to which all his loved ones are destined for. He is tired and he's scared, but things don't go his way no matter how much Peter or Spider-Man wishes they would.
Things get tricky and dangerous and they hurt but along the journey there are bits that make the worst and darkest parts of both of them bearable and even worth loving but it takes time to heal and trust each other.
