Lovely.” Dabi tried to move his head to the side, to hide his face in the pillow and away from striking gold eyes that felt like they were looking straight through him. Keigo’s hand moved down to grasp his chin lightly and turned his face back upwards. “Don’t hide from me hot stuff. Keep those stunning eyes on me. Wanna know I’m making you feel good.” Dabi’s breath hitched noticeably and Keigo took that as his cue to move back down to his chest, but not before pressing his slightly swollen lips against Dabi’s in a sweet soft kiss.

“Dr. Chuu said your foot needs to stay elevated?” Dabi’s voice is a low rumble on his skin.“Yes,” Hawks says, staring in wonder as Dabi moves his leg further up his shoulder. The staples of his hand are cold and shocking on his skin but growing warmer by the second. His normally cool fingers are hot as they play at the compression stirrup of his leggings from his hero uniform that Hawks had kept on. Hawks is stunningly aware of the size of Dabi’s hands, his fingers, compared to his feet––compared to his calves. His opposite hand taps at the compression sleeve containing his swollen ankle, fingering over the black fabric and fibers. “You plan on helping with that?”
Or, Hawks is sent home from patrol by his agency doctor over a sprained ankle, and Dabi comes back to the apartment to find Hawks in a precarious situation.

Summary
Shouto sits up in the bed to watch him as he slips into the hallway, hands clutching the stuffie on his lap. His blanket is baby pink fleece, well worn in from frequent washing, and every time he looks at the thing, Touya sees five-year-old Shouto clinging to it as their father tried to take it from him, shouting angrily.
When he steps back into his own room, Touya expects to see Shouto still sitting up and waiting for him.
He’s lying down again, curled up against Keigo’s chest. Keigo’s hand rubs his back in slow passes, almost covering the narrow width of Shouto’s body. They’re both quiet, just even breathing and the rustle of bedding disturbing the quiet stillness. Touya stands in the doorway, watching with a sudden, fluttering tightness in his chest; the way his little brother turns his face into Keigo’s shoulder and sighs drowsily.

Touya had filed for emergency custody of Shouto just over a year ago, immediately after removing him from the house in a panic, and Shouto had been officially under his care for the foreseeable future. The custody wasn’t temporary anymore.
