Summary
Rumi, Mira, and Zoey had been childhood best friends, separated by distance and unfortunate circumstances, but fate (and the Honmoon) brought them back together as demon hunters and K-Pop Idols.
After Gwi-ma is defeated the girls become intimately closer, but Rumi and Mira blurs the line between platonic and romantic after a night of drinking and along the way something breaks. Unsettled, the group spends their hiatus figuring out that a duo within a trio does not work. That maybe Zoey is the glue that holds everything together.

“See you later, Sheriff Swan,” Regina says, smooths down the lapels of Emma’s jacket and with a last satisfied smile, turns to enter the diner. Emma remains on the doorstep for a solid five minutes, heart racing and hands trembling and her feelings wild and chaotic, before she can move again.

And Regina’s heart bottoms out, she feels dizzy for a second, grapples for any sense of confidence and control that usually comes so easily to her. It’s what she has wanted to hear for years, years of envisioning Emma telling her she feels the same, of them finally allowing themselves to be a them, no more soulmates or pirates or fate keeping them apart. But she never envisioned it like this.
“I’m not up to be taken,” she grits out instead of the frustrated scream that’s lodged painfully in her throat.

Emma becomes the Dark One for Regina. Too bad that all the Dark One wants is to have her way with Regina.
Regina on the other hand is struggling with her feelings for Emma, while doing her best to not get swept up in the Dark One's desire for her.
