When Best Jeanist is called on a mission to raid an illegal quirk breeding farm, he ends up rescuing a near-feral Katsuki. Forced to take temporary custody, the denim hero is thrown into a whirlwind of wrangling the violent, too-smart-for-his-own-good teen, while juggling his new courtship with an Omega whom he’s been in love with for years. Through this, he learns what it means to help give someone a second chance at life.
To Katsuki, he’s never had the luxury of pondering what it means to be “human.” Sold off to traffickers as a young pup after his parents’ deaths, the Alpha spends every waking moment fighting for survival, refusing to let them take what leftover, pathetic scraps of himself he’s managed to safeguard. Taking his chances to live with Denim Douche (at least until he can make a break for it), he finds that maybe—just maybe—he’s worthy of these things called "family" and “love."

"Tch. Really?" Katsuki wasn't sure about that. "It's a shitty grilled cheese on the beach."
Izuku smiled meekly. "Yeah, but I think it's perfect. The ocean's so pretty. And it's so quiet out here." He blushed for a moment, then forged on. "Kacchan is pretty, too."
When Izuku's relationship ends abruptly, his friends take him on a beach vacation to help get his mind off of things. On the last day of their trip, Izuku lets down his guard, gets up on stage at the bar, and sings karaoke.
A certain handsome blonde can't seem to keep his eyes off of him.
In which Izuku and Katsuki meet by chance one night, and fall a little more in love every second they spend together.
