Summary
When a church burns on the edge of town, Sheriff Isagi Yoichi is tasked with finding the man responsible. The outlaw, Kaiser, does not flee the crime scene so much as curate it—leaving behind ash, witnesses, and a version of himself meant to be remembered.
As Isagi follows the trail, it becomes clear the destruction is not random, but intentional, personal. Kaiser wants to be found, and more than that, he wants to be understood.
What begins as a manhunt slips into something far more dangerous: a slow, intimate unraveling of law, desire, and control, where pursuit becomes fixation and neither man escapes unmarked.
