It took about ten minutes to get to Peter’s building. Stiles broke several driving laws in the process, but nobody died - which was the important thing, anyway. And he wasn’t caught, which was the second most important thing.
After standing in the elevator for way too long, he really had no patience to bother with knocking. Stiles had a key and he was gonna use it.
He jammed the key in the lock and threw the door open, making sure to kick it shut behind him once he was inside.
“Peter!” Stiles shouted.

Despite all the different creatures they had in their pack, Stiles was still the only human. Sometimes, he felt like less, but his pack was good at reminding him that he was the scariest one of them all. The alpha mate was a blood-thirsty, conniving, sarcastic heathen of a witch. He was the backbone of the pack. So, when he got sick, the pack put everything else on hold until Stiles was better.
