Summary
Phainons’s gasps and moans echoed in the chamber, bounced off the ancient pillars.
He was spread wide open, legs hooked over Mydei's thighs, perfect position to spear himself on the prince's cock; golden gauntlets held onto his bare waist, clothes discarded and leaving little to the imagination.
In the midst of closing in on the mad king Nikador, Phainon suddenly collapses, pulling at his clothes as if they're burning him. The Trailblazer stares, jaw dropped, and half-wonders if the cause is Nikador’s aura— but Phainon just shakes his head, mumbling something about a “rut” before devolving into curses, voice wavering.
“Okay. Rut. Uhm… wait, what?”
The Trailblazer watches him try to strip naked for one moment longer before they turn on their heel to find Mydei. What the hell is up with these people?!

"If it was nothing, you shouldn't have a problem repeating it," Mydei says, unmoving, but Phainon knows if his palms weren't oiled and powdery, he'd be folding his arms over his chest. Instead, they hang, claw-like, in front of him. It'd be funny if Phainon had the upper hand. "Look me in the eye..."
Instead—in an obviously Pavlovian response—Phainon does.
"…And ask. One more time."
The song plummets into the bridge, petering out between them. Phainon inhales deeply, catalogues his crowded, eclectic dining/living room, at everything and everywhere except Mydei until he absolutely has to.
"Right…um. So. Mydei…" he nods, smiles, even, despite the dread. No point in backing down now.
"Do you want to make a sex tape?"
Phainon has a proposition. His feelings for Mydei are (definitely) not part of it.
