Rumi ignored her chest squeezing.
“-A stunning girlfriend, Mira. I mentioned her, right? My girlfriend Mira-” The woman stopped abruptly and lowered her head down into her arms. “Jeez, Zoey, stop rambling at the deaf woman.” It was muffled, but Rumi heard it.
Silenced by grief, Rumi’s world is transformed when she crosses paths with Mira and Zoey, who guide her toward a voice she thought was lost forever.

Summary
After her voice failed during the Golden Live Show practice, Rumi ran. What she didn't consider was Zoey and Mira following her. Them finding out she is a demon goes nothing like she thought it would.
Now, Rumi's patterns won't stop spreading, and she can't deny the connection she feels to the honmoon. She also can't deny how weak it seems to be getting. Gwi-ma probably knows they were about to seal the honmoon for good and has something planned. Something big that has every cell in Rumi's body vibrating.
If that wasn't enough, there's also this stupid fluttering in her stomach every time Zoey and Mira get close to her, which has been happening more and more since they saw her patterns.

Rumi is begging and Mira had wanted to be just that, be together, up until five minutes ago – her and Zoey had talked about it in detail, how both of their heart were beating for two people, how easy it had been to fall in love with their leader, how they wanted to try and be more, once they had restored the Golden Honmoon.
But Rumi lied to them.
And Mira finds she doesn’t want her anymore, not right now.
(She doesn’t know, not yet, what she will lose. Destiny laughs into her ears and it is the sound of someone gone mad.)

Finally, Zoey blurted it out, voice soft but sharp:
“Have you ever thought of… something besides monogamy?”
Mira’s thumb stilled on the screen. She looked up, slow. “…What?”
Zoey’s hands twisted in her lap. “Like—not open relationships. Just… not just one person. Have you ever thought about being with more than one person and it still being okay?”
She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.
“I feel so guilty all the time. Because I love you, Mira. I love you, and this doesn’t change that, but I see her and I want to make her smile and I want her to hold my hand and I think she’s beautiful and weird and sweet and I—”
She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.
“I think I ruined us. And I’m so sorry.”
Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.
Then she visibly deflated—shoulders dropping, head tilting back against the wall—and let out a quiet, choked laugh.
“…Oh thank god.”

It hasn’t leaked yet, but tabloids are sniffing.” Celine’s tone carved away every last illusion of safety.
Across the room, Zoey was crouched in front of Rumi, mimicking some ridiculous dance move to make her laugh. And Rumi was laughing—a smile painted on because she knew how to keep up a brave face. Always.
“Bobby’s securing your exit and I’m shutting down what I can. Don’t move until he gets there. I’m already on a flight. I’ll meet you in an hour.”

Caitlyn discovers there are larger issues afoot in her home than previously understood within the cloistered walls of her upbringing.
Vi has been locked in stillwater prison for the past 7 years under a false charge.. While using the arcane is not only legal and encouraged within Piltover proper, religious fanaticism, corruption and a drug named shimmer had ravaged its way through the borderlands and with it the persecution and oppression of those who could use or touch the arcane. While Vi herself can’t channel, Powder can. It was an easy choice to save her sister. Living with it is harder.
A story of adventure, prison breaks, bards and taverns, and learning that love is a revolution.
